Park and Ride Improvement Works

Room for improvement

Our Park and Ride sites are extremely busy and we want to improve them and make sure they are fit for purpose in any way we can.

We may be creating extra spaces, resurfacing or adding new facilities to help improve your experience and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause while works are carried out.

Planned Disruption

  • New multi-storey Longbridge Park and Ride coming soon

Work to deliver our first strategic multi-storey Park and Ride car park facility is now well underway at Longbridge Station.

  • Bradley Lane Park and Ride

Bradley Lane Park and Ride is now open. There are 196 spaces offering the convenience of parking and then riding by Midland Metro to stops along the way to Birmingham Library and Wolverhampton St Georges.

  • Overflow car park at Dudley Port Station closed

The overflow car park at Dudley Port closed on Monday 24 August and will reopen as an interchange Park and Ride car park serving both tram and train services when the Metro route opens. The main car park at Dudley Port Railway Station will remain open throughout construction for the tramway, which is now well underway across the Sandwell and Dudley areas.

Please consider walking or cycling to the station and taking advantage of cycle storage facilities.
