Park and Ride Improvement Works

Room for improvement

Our Park and Ride sites are extremely busy and we want to improve them and make sure they are fit for purpose in any way we can.

We may be creating extra spaces, resurfacing or adding new facilities to help improve your experience and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause while works are carried out.

Planned Disruption

  • Tile Hill Part Closure - From Monday 1 April to Sunday 30 June 2019 part of the car park will be closed due to essential electrical works taking place to one of the pylons. Please do not leave your car overnight in the marked area from Friday 29 March, otherwise you will receive a £100 fixed penalty notice to cover the cost of moving the vehicle.

The car parking spaces in the marked area will not be in use during these works:

There will be no changes to the main pedestrian access. The rail station will remain open during the works.

We apologise for any inconvenience to your journey whilst essential works take place.

  • Longbridge Park & Ride Full Closure - Sunday 19 May 2019 until Spring 2020.

Longbridge Park and Ride will close until Spring 2020 to enable a decked car park to be built. No parking will be available for the duration of these works. The save-a-space option will not be available during the works.  This facility will move to Northfield Park and Ride (B31 2PY). Please consider using the bus, walking, or cycling to the station instead.

Rail Station -The rail station will remain open during the works.

Cycle Parking – The cycle hub at Longbridge will remain open during the works.

Access Road (Devon Way) - Current restrictions on Devon Way will remain.

We apologise for any inconvenience whilst we bring you an extended Park and Ride facility.
