Travel Update

Only use public transport if you have no other travel options. This keeps our services safe and available for those who need them most. Walk, cycle or drive if you can but you should continue to stay at home as much as possible.

When making essential journeys stay apart. Do not crowd at doorways to get on board. Do not sit next to others where possible. Use mobile, smartcard or contactless payments. Social distancing is important to keep you and our staff safe.

Bus, train and tram services are reduced. Further changes to timetables are being made in the coming weeks to bring more services back in to use, however, capacity will still be limited.

NHS Travel

NHS staff can now travel for free on bus and tram services in the West Midlands. Free shuttle services will now be operating from some of the regions Park and Ride sites, key rail and Metro stations to support hospital staff getting to and from work, read more.

Looking to get a refund?

We understand that this is a very difficult time and so we are relaxing the rules across many ticketing schemes in order to provide refunds for customers who have been unable to travel. See if you are eligible and apply here. 

Free travel for ENCTS Concessionary pass holders before 09.30 on buses, trams and rail:

From Thursday 19 March, and until further notice, those eligible can travel free of charge on all bus, tram and rail services in the West Midlands Network area from the start of service. Learn more
