Walk Once a Week Scheme

TfWM have been working with Living Streets, the national charity for everyday walking, to get families across the Midlands walking to school. Schools participating in the Walk Once a Week scheme use Living Streets’ online Travel Tracker to help pupils record their journeys to school every morning.

The Walk Once a Week Scheme in the West Midlands is entering its second year and local co-ordinator Tom is currently recruiting more schools – if you’re a parent or a governor and would like Living Streets to speak to your school about WOW, email David.Hackney@livingstreets.org.uk
