From Sunday 2 June 2019, changes will be made to some of National Express West Midlands services in the Birmingham and Black Country area.
Due to low usage between Dudley and Birmingham, the X7 service will no longer operate. However, the frequency of buses on the X8 will increase to up to every 10 minutes between Wolverhampton and Dudley. Between Dudley and Birmingham, the X8 will continue to run every 20 minutes. The 126 will increase to run up to every 12 minutes between Dudley and Birmingham, partly replacing the X7 on Birmingham New Road.
The frequency of buses on the 126 service will increase to up to every 12 minutes due to the withdrawal of the X7.
The timetable will be revised. The frequency of buses during the evening will be reduced due to low demand.

Do to significant delays in the Stechford area caused by roadworks at Iron Lane, the route of the 55 will change. From Washwood Heath Road, buses will operate directly ahead at the Fox & Goose junction and then along Coleshill Road and Stechford Road to Hodge Hill Road. Stechford Lane and part of Stechford Road will not be served. Customers should board and alight buses at stops on Coleshill Road, Washwood Heath Road or Hodge Hill Road. There will also be changes made to times throughout the day.
