The Direct Debit scheme offers adult and child monthly nbus, ntrain and nnetwork tickets. These tickets give fantastic savings, flexibility and convenience, and are always the cheapest way to pay for your travel if you are a regular bus, train or tram user.  

Buying your ticket with Direct Debit takes the hassle out of buying a new ticket each month, plus you can buy your first month's ticket during the application process so you can start saving straightaway.

Once your Direct Debit is set up, your ticket will either be posted to you each month, or some tickets will be loaded onto a Swift smartcard.

Adult Direct Debit

A set payment is taken from your bank account on the same date each month, and your ticket is delivered to your door, or direct to your Swift card.

All nbus tickets come on a Swift card, including the area-specific Coventry and Black Country tickets.

Friends and family can travel with you off-peak, on rail services within your selected zones for £1 return adults and 50p return children (ntrain and nnetwork tickets only).

Child Direct Debit

With Direct Debit, you pay for 10 months but get 12 months travel.

  • new ticket is delivered to your door each month
  • payment is taken from your bank account on the second of each month
  • lost or damaged tickets are replaced for just £5 with a quick phone call
  • 16-18 photocard holders are eligible for Child fares
