New journey planning tools on the My Metro App
West Midlands Metro have introduced a new feature to the My Metro app to help plan your journeys and make an informed decision on when to travel.
The app now includes an easy to understand ‘heat map’ – which uses a green, amber and red indicator to help customers avoid busy periods.
Customers can also let West Midlands Metro know when they intend to use the tram, which will assist them in planning future journeys.
The app is available for downloaded from the App store and Google Play.

The West Midlands Metro is now running its normal timetable bringing daytime frequency back to every 6 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes at weekends.
