Replacing lost tickets & passes

We understand how complicated it can be to find how to replace a lost travel pass.

Below is a guide on how to replace the most common types of passes issued.

Top tip: If you are in a hurry and need a quick response it is best to call us or direct message us via social media (during advertised opening hours).

Swift Cards - including 16-18, Student, Direct Debit and Corporate Travel

If you have registered your Swift card to an online account or you are a member of the Direct Debit or Corporate Travel Schemes, we can help to replace it for you. 

The quickest way to do this is to call us on 0345 075 6006. A replacement fee of £7.50 will be required, so please have a debit / credit card to hand.

Your replacement travel pass will be posted first class, please allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive.

If you are a Direct Debit customer, you can also replace your pass online and your request will be processed the following working day.

Paper tickets purchased through our website

To replace these tickets, call us on 0345 303 6760. A replacement fee of £7.50 will be required, so please have a debit / credit card to hand.

Your replacement travel pass will be posted first class, please allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive.

Paper tickets purchased through your company

If you are a member of the Corporate Travel Scheme and have a paper ticket that needs replacing, please call us on 0345 303 6760.

 A replacement fee of £7.50 will be required, so please have a debit / credit card to hand.

Your replacement travel pass will be posted first class, please allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive.

School Term tickets (Scholars)

Please call us on 0345 303 6760. A replacement fee of £7.50 and one of the following proof of purchases will be required (we will ask you to email a copy of this to us once we have taken payment):

  • The tear off issued with your ticket
  • Your receipt (only if purchased at a train station)
  • A letter from your school confirming you’ve been issued a ticket and how long it was valid for

Once we have received a copy of your proof or purchase and payment has been taken your new pass will be posted first class, please allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive.

Student Paper Network Term Tickets

We can help you to replace student network (bus, train and tram) zone 1-2 and zone 1-5 term tickets that have been lost or damaged.

Please call us on 0345 303 6760. A replacement fee of £25.00 a new photo and one of the following proof of purchases will be required (we will ask you to email a copy of this to us and a photo once we have taken payment):

  • The tear off section issued with your ticket
  • Your receipt (only if purchased at a train station)
  • A letter from your school confirming you’ve been issued a ticket and how long it was valid for

Once we have received a copy of your proof or purchase, a photo and payment has been taken your new pass will be posted first class, please allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive.

Paper season tickets from a train station

West Midlands Network replace network tickets (bus, train and tram travel) valid for 13 weeks or more only.

To replace these tickets please call 0345 303 6760. A replacement fee of £7.50 photo and proof of purchase will be required (we will ask you to email a copy of this to us once we have taken payment).

Once we have received a copy of your proof or purchase and payment has been taken your new pass will be posted first class, please allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive.

Older Person’s Pass

The quickest way to replace your older person's pass is by applying for a replacement online. There is a replacement fee of £7.50, so please have your credit/debit card to hand.

Alternatively, you can call us to arrange your replacement on 0345 303 6760.

Your replacement pass will be posted by first class, please allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive.

Disabled Person’s Travel Pass

The quickest way to replace your disabled person's pass is by applying for a replacement online. There is a replacement fee of £7.50, so please have your credit/debit card to hand.

Alternatively, you can call us to arrange your replacement on 0345 303 6760.

Your replacement pass will be posted by first class, please allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive.

Please note that refunds will not be given for tickets purchased for travel while waiting for your replacement to arrive.
