Replacing lost tickets & passes

The vast majority of lost tickets and passes can be replaced, how they are replaced will depend on the type of ticket/pass and where it was orginally purchased from

Please use the guide below to find out how to get one replaced. 

Adult

If you pay by Direct Debit

If you are a member of the WMCA Direct Debit Scheme you can replace your lost/stolen travel pass online.

Please note that an administration fee of £7.50 will apply to replace a lost or stolen pass. 

If you have a season ticket which is only valid on a particular operator's services, please contact the operator. 

 Swift

If you’ve registered your Swift card to an online account, you can get a replacement by calling Swift Support on 0345 075 6006 (an administration fee up to £7.50 will apply).

 If you bought your pass through this website

Please call our customer service team on 0345 303 6760 to request a replacement (an administration fee up to £25.00 will apply). 

 If you’re part of the Corporate Travel Scheme

Please call 0345 303 6760 to request a replacement (an administration fee of £7.50 will apply).

 If you bought your pass at a Travel Centre

Please visit the travel centre you bought your pass from for more information on replacements.

 If you bought your pass at a train station

The following Network West Midlands tickets can be replaced with proof of purchase:

  • 13 week or 52 week network tickets

Complete an application form and return it with your proof of purchase.

 

Child

If you pay by Direct Debit

If you've lost your 16-18 photocard 

please call 0345 303 6760 to request a replacement (an administration fee of £7.50 will apply).

Direct Debit customers are not able to order replacement cards online and will need to call Customer Services.

Stolen photocards can be replaced free of charge if you have a crime reference number. You will need to call Customer Services to order your replacement card.

If you've lost your term ticket

Complete an application form and return it with your proof of purchase and the administration fee requested on the form.

Proof of purchase must be one of the following:

  • The tear off issued with your ticket
  • Your receipt (only if purchased at a train station)
  • A letter from your school confirming you’ve been issued a ticket and how long it was valid for

If your ticket is protected by PassProtect

For tickets protected by the PassProtect term ticket replacement scheme, please call our Customer Services team on 0345 303 6760.

If your term ticket is not protected, you can find out more about the scheme and save yourself the cost of a replacement if your ticket is lost, stolen or damaged.

Student

Complete the student replacement application form and return it to us with:

  • A passport style photograph
  • The tear off section from your ticket
  • Payment as requested on the replacement application form

Return to Ticketing Services, 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3SD.

Older or Disabled Person's Travel Pass

If your pass has been lost or damaged, there is an administration fee of £7.50.

There are several ways you can request a replacement.

The quickest way to replace your older person's or disabled pass is by doing it online. Please have your credit/debit card to hand and click the link below to follow the process.

Request a replacement by phone

Please call 0345 303 6760 to request a replacement.

If your pass has been stolen and you’ve got a crime reference number, a replacement is free of charge.

You can make payment over the phone or one of our Customer Services team members can post a replacement form to you so you can pay by cheque or postal order.

Visit a Network West Midlands Travel Information Centre.

Order and pay for your replacement at the Travel Information Centre (Wolverhampton Bus Station and Birmingham New Street Station).

Your pass will be posted first class to your address.

If you have any Swift Pay As You Go credit or Auto Top Up settings on your existing card, these will automatically be transferred to your new card.

Please note that refunds will not be given for tickets purchased for travel while waiting for your replacement to arrive.
