We are pleased to be supporting Public Health England’s One You physical activity campaign, which encourages adults to be more active, starting with a daily brisk ten-minute walk.
A great way to achieve this is by building it into your daily routine, which is why we are encouraging bus users to take a ten-minute brisk walk to the next bus stop. Not only will it make a huge difference to your health and improve your mood, if you can walk into a National Express Short Hop zone it has the added benefit of a cheaper fare too!
To help you along the way, you can download the free ‘Active 10' app. This new app shows how much brisk walking you’re doing when you can increase your pace and how you can fit more brisk walking into your day. It also sets goals and provides hints and tips to keep you going.
