Accessibility Statement

This is the official accessibility statement for the Network West Midlands website. If you have any questions or comments, please Get in touch.

This policy applies only to web pages on the website (ie URLS starting with www.networkwestmidlands.com).

Standards Compliance

The pages on this website were built in 2008 to comply with a minimum standard of WCAG A, complying with all priority 1 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Navigation Aids

All pages contain a link to the home page, and the menu system has been constructed in a consistent fashion throughout the website.

All pages on the website include a search box.

Listen feature

ReadSpeaker makes websites talk. It is easy to use; just click on the 'Listen to this page' at the top of the web page. Once the listen button is clicked, you can hear the content of the webpage being read out. You require no plugins or additional software. What you see on the web page is what is ead out loud.

Images

All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.

Visual Design

This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable. Some content was migrated from the old site and as such we are working on removing the use of tables for layout in some content areas.

Fonts

Font sizes can be changed by selecting the preferred text size link in the top right hand corner of all web pages.
